at the bottom of this page there is a link to several categories of examples of them. I am eager to hear your thoughts. And I hope, not being being a photographer doesn’t keep me from being included. Drawing and painting yourself everyday takes a lot more work than snapping a picture (most of the time). Best! Bryan
Thanks for the link to your self-portrait series. The section regarding drugs reminds me of a Polish artist from the early 1900′s I heard about named Stanisław Ignacy Witkiewicz (aka “Witkacy”) who had a portrait painting/drawing service where he would annotate what drugs he was under the influence of right on the end product, including tobacco and caffeine.
i like the slight wrinkles that connect the bottom of your chin to your mid-cheek on both sides of your face, surrounding your mouth. i guess its more if an indent than a real wrinkle, just following the contours of your skull and such
man, this is some crazy material you have here. hope to see the site when you are completely done with it. Also, the reverse portraits are pretty awesome!
This is an archived page. Comments are sealed. I can't take the criticism.
I like what you do.
Hello JK, I love that have you have collected these daily projects on your site! However, I think mine should be included.
