First of all, last night I “woke up” and thought there was someone in the room. Couldn’t move my body, but could hear growling in the room, circling around and finally right over my head. I knew I was half-asleep so I started breathing really hard to get someone to wake me up.

I am a little vague on how this all went down, or the reasonings behind the actions in the dream I had later on in the night, but here goes: It was one of those first person/third person switching dreams where I was watching and being the guy at the center of the plot. I had created some nefarious plot to do something and all that was required was time for the plan to take shape. But there was someone who was onto the plan and was running around trying to stop it. He was in a gated area, like an amusement park or museum space. I owned some building in the middle and that was the heart of the operation. I ran across a bunch of little bridges and to where I thought was a safer area. He just walked in the inch-deep water across the pond. For some reason I thought he wouldn’t do so. But there were still other obstacles that needed to be gone around.

Does this need explanation?

What I can remember from this one was that there was a guy with a really long shotgun/musket who was threatening a group of us. He was slowly going around the room pointing it at people. At some point he pointed at my girlfriend and kind of flipped at him. He swung the gun around at me. I stood, stared him down, and grabbed the barrel of the gun and pulled it right out of the handle. He didn’t look surprised or defeated at all. I thought about beating him with the barrel, but hesitated for a second.

Last night Matthew and Cullen put together the BMX Stunt Spectacluar show in the Forum Gallery. This was my submission to the show. It’s plastic ribbon woven into garden fencing. I wanted to do some type work with it, but ran out of time. Will be working a little on that coming up though. It’s about 3′ by 3′.
