Due to a complete reconfiguration of my web server, YMMV.

  1. Do you know of any place other than Urban Outfitters that sells that Gelf watch? Maybe someplace online or something like that?

    Thanks

Nope. If some other place sells this watch, it could be called something else. I have a feeling Urban Outfitters repackages them.

  2. Love your work :)
Particularly this series of robotic creatures.
Also the font looks great. Is it completed and usable at this stage?

The typeface is only usable for myself currently. It still resides in Illustrator, and I just don’t have the time or energy to turn it into a font while I am in grad school. Maybe when I get an intern [if anyone wants to be my intern (I'll buy you lunches), please e-mail me at website@c71123.com], I’ll have him/her work on making it a publicly usable face.

  3. They are availible at cyberdog in camden.

I sell them in my shop, Basking Cod in Lymington, soon to be wwwdotcom (under construction). BTW Urban Outfitters dont re-package, they are supplied from japan via a distributor in the UK called Cubic (www.cubicuk.com) under Buzz

Just got one from Urban outfitters, the black one that speaks japanese. they also had a white one that speaks french, but I can’t find the orange one.

The construction is pretty cheap, though acceptable, what do you expect for $18 US? Anyway, the language function is pretty loud, I wonder how long the batteries last. Oh, and on the box, made in china.

It seems that the straps would probably break before the main part will break. The window showing the time is pretty cheap looking, but acceptable. The only coolness factor of this watch is that it speaks.
