Car falls from a building onto the sidewalk

Back of car hanging out of building windowI was reminded that I had a dream last night when I saw this image in CNN.com’s Offbeat Images slideshow. Later on in the day a friend said she saw a horrible car accident on her way to the airport. Believe it or not…

What I remember from it that I was walking down a street on a nice day when I car came crashing down onto the sidewalk a half-block in front of me. But I didn’t see the smashed car at all. It was like it moved off-screen. I was absolutely amazed to say the least and looked up to see if I could figure out where it actually came from. I ran towards the wreckage, but don’t remember there being any actual parts of the car that I could see. I just remember feeling so amazed.

Apple Web Designers: Daily Photo Project Fans?

Screenshot of Apple's iPhoto photocasting page

Okay, so I was reading a story about Personal Bookprinting today and decided to click through to Apple’s iPhoto page to see what it had to say. I also wanted to see if photocasting was limited to .Mac accounts, so I went to the Photocasting page to check it out. I was casually skimming the page when I saw the image of the iPhoto sidebar. I saw my name and thought it was a nice treat. Then I noticed that the next item in the list was “A Photo a Day…”! Could it merely be a coincidence that I, Jonathan, happen to have a project of Daily Photos?!? I’d much rather think that the designers put a little bit of an Easter Egg style text in there. Here’s to hoping!

I’d e-mail them, but then the dream may end up being crushed. I’ll keep it to myself and this blog…

The Lazy Universe is on my side

Yesterday at the Director’s Day dinner, I was the recipient of one of 10 random “free money” scholarships. I can only hope that the universe’s laziness (you could call it inertia I guess) continues to work in my favor.
