At the age of 16 i looked at your daily photo project due to seeing your 8 yr project whist looking at the bleaker project done by Noah! Can I say your daily photo project has made me as a young designer and a lover of art more aware of pieces (of art) ,your piece makes me wonder is this a master piece of art in the making or a solid view into how time drifts away and the changes we under go in life.. I thank your for this, and the music used goes so well with the video and brings a whole new level which in my opinion over shadows Noah’s version due to that!

As far as updating… I try to do it once a month, though, I get distracted from time to time.

Just a quick question, you said you used Adobe after effects to stabalise the images, but did you use it to actually animate them?

If not, what did you use?

I tried a whole bunch of images at the Celebrity look-a-like website and found that it had less to do with people actually looking alike, but more what the photograph looked like. For example, if an image had a large shadow on the right side of the face, the program came back with images of people with large shadows on the right side of the face. Stuff like that. I tried to give it images of celebrities and see if it would give me that celebrity back and it failed almost every time. But amusing none-the-less.

Thankyou for your inspiration, you gave me some tips from this “daily photo” idea that ive had in my head originally, ill send you a link after my project is a year or so old, wouldn’t be much point right now seen as it is only 10 weeks old.

I bet you are sick of people saying which celebrity you look like so i used this programme where you submit a photo and it gives your best matches http://www.myheritage.com/FP/Company/tryFaceRecognition.php?collage=1. A random photo i selected from 2004 said your closest match was Luke Wilson (its done by the eyes)

i was at school in minneapolis with jonathan when he started this project. it’s rad to see you still doing it (though you’ve been lazy lately with all your cranbrook brooha-ha. geez you still infatuated with education? hehh). i remember one day when you got really sick and you had the gnarliest photograph of you all pekid and whatnot. we laughed ’til we cried on that one.

there’s been some imposters on youtube copping your styles, so let it be known that jk was the originator of the daily photo project, 8 years ago, RECOGNIZE!
