My website's undergoing significant structural changes and it's going to take some serious time. Consequently, the blog's on vacation and project pages may look a little sloppy. There are some new projects though, so poke around.
2005 and 2004 are your best years on 2006 u look like an old .

the less hair you have the better you look. You look like a caveman when your hair was never cut and the beard, then you look like you found god and became a monk or mooney that last shots. Shaveit all off and shine that dome up.

Love the concept. Just saw the video for the first time on another website and Googled you to find out if I could find out anymore about this mysterious man. Happy to see that you have your own website. I will have to add it to one of my favorites. You are a very creative person and I can’t wait to see what else you have up your sleeves. And since everyone is commenting on your looks I’ll give my 2 cents too. Like you better with short hair, but the long hair is pretty nice too.

interesting the changes people go through. . . it’s easy to feel like you’ve looked the same forever, until you see a picture of yourself from a few years ago and it makes you realize how far you’ve come. This brings that phenomena to a whole new level.

It makes me wish I had started taking pictures of myself a long time ago so I could look back at my awkward phases for a good laugh.
I couldn’t help but laugh and think of the first time I drove my 1990 Honda Civic. Excitement mixed with apprehension,(hoping that makes sense.)It’s like a vintage car that just gets better with age… but has the occasional break-down. Thanks for making me smile. And thats a genuine thanks. Oh, did you donate that hair of yours when you shaved it off?
People seem to love their Civics. I like that Civic is a palindrome personally. As far as the hair, no I did not donate it. It was in terrible shape to begin with (3 inch split ends and whatnot) and I also saved it for what ended up as a failed attempt at a project. I definitely looked into Locks of Love though.
too funny. ever thought about using morph software and making a time lapse presentation? have to ask what happened in the middle of 2007 (haircut)…drafted? wedding? job interview?…in any case, keep up the great work. i’ve written a short post on my site about your projects.
Time lapse: You have a link on your blog to the main daily photo project page which includes a composited animation of all the photos. Not sure how you missed that. Perhaps you have Flash disabled.
Middle of 2007: I cut my hair. I had been growing it for the two years I was in grad school. When I was finished with my final project, off it went.

You should paste all of these pictures on the walls of your house/apartment/secret lair. If/when the cops bust in for an unpaid parking ticket or something, they will totally think they hit the mother-load.
Aside from that, you did a great job documenting my past 7 years… now get outta my house.

I have very few shirts. I’m just not into fashion much for myself. Though, my favorite shirt is the one my mother embroidered Princess Peach on.

Just found the video (two years later; I fail the Internet, apparently) and I am super-impressed with this project. Fascinating.
I really enjoy this project. My fav so far is 20050112 which happens to be the day after my birth day. I commented on 07 because my friend pointed out you cut you hair off on 420(if you don’t know what that is google 420). I quote this from my friend but he said “wow must have been one bad smoking accident.” but by upper comments I can tell it wasn’t.

I love how facial hair always seems to have a mind of it’s own. Your mustache, for instance, never looks the same to me. I’ve always been jealous of people with the ability to grow facial hair.
I like the long hair. BUT I love this project. I use to live with a guy whose had a storm cloud of gray hair & every single morning, it looked entirely different. My only regret about the demise of that relationship was that I didn’t make a year long photo study of his many morning hair “moods”.
