Robot Grocery Carts & Stamp Photographer

There seems to be a couple dreams that got mixed up…

First of all I remember following the story of this guy who was showing a series of stamps to a postmaster in Germany (I think). Anyway, the stamps were all photographs of the guy who was showing them to the postmaster. Self-portraits from different time periods. He was explaining how each one used original materials and costumes from the eras. He was also explaining his life in a larger picture as well. Said that he had done such and such for years and that finally he had had enough and saved up 25′000$ so that he could do everything perfect in these photos. I guess he wanted to do photography for stamps (though thinking about it in waking life, that doesn’t seem to be a very lucrative career choice). The postmaster was obviously very impressed at the man’s abilities and could see the effort that went into producing the stamps. The guy was a pretty decent model too. I remember being low in the scene, almost like a hidden camera in a briefcase sitting on a chair.

Another one had me participate in a race between a human shopper with shopping cart and a robotic shopping cart. The funny thing was that the robotic cart was so small, like it could only hold three items or something. Anyway, I was in control of this robotic cart. It was awful. It was supposed to find the correct item, which the first was a plant in a pot. It broke several trying to get them into itself. Once it did get one, it drove around too frenetically and ended up dumping it three feet away. I had to push it at certain points. It was a complete disaster. Also, this wasn’t a cart I had made, which seems weird.
