Due to a complete reconfiguration of my web server, YMMV.

I Heart You

I Heart You in QuickTime format.

Created by slicing a video of me saying “I Love You” into 720 vertical lines and displacing each by 1/30th of a second. I later found out that After Effects has a plug-in that does this sort of thing semi-automatically. Urgh.

For those curious, the music loop is by: Nemo

  1. The everyday picture video is fantastic!
I think the music is totally DESTROYING it though.
(ok, u don’t know that yet, but-believe me- I am far too brilliant for my opinion to be ignored. I must say Lee’s clip is how I got to you, but yours is far more interesting.. By the way, one of the main reasons why Lee’s clip is so appealling is the music!!!!Seriously, do sth about that.
And one more thing if I may ask.. what does that J stand for? thanks for reading my blah blah comments. Got some more if u like(or not).

  2. moderated comment version:
loved your everyday pic project/music destroys it/
attention:far too brilliant for my opinion 2 b ignored/your clip more interesting than Lee’s clip.more free comments on demand(request?).

  3. ok.I give up.Don’t know what moderation of my comment means.

  4. Roxanie & &: While I value that everyone has an opinion on the music in the Daily Photo video and despite that you are “far too brilliant for my[your] opinion to be ignored”, I have to question your opinion and brilliance on three points:

    1. Not understanding the concept or definition of moderation in blog comments. And failing that understanding, not taking the initiative to look it up.
Moderation (from Duke University’s Majordomo Glossary): Every message sent to a moderated list must by approved by the list[blog] owner.
    2. Posting a comment about the Daily Photo video on a page that contains no reference to it what-so-ever.
    3. Repeating to point out your brilliance in your second comment with the txt msg abbreviation (or Prince notation) ‘2 b’.

Don’t get me wrong, there are some major difficulties people have with the music. I’m okay with that currently. I suggest watching it again with the music off while listening to some Bach.

In answer to your query: The ‘J’ stands for Jonathan.

And for some further understanding of my humor, see the Daily Photo FAQs.

I have experienced a similar situation with my Flash project (very frustrating!). I love the site and your comments, but this page is hilarious. Three comments to hit on you, and not very well at that! Keep doing the great work and making pithy comments like this. I will definitely check back!

  7. Nice! :)
Please, tell me the name of the music :)

  8. Nice! :)
