My website's undergoing significant structural changes and it's going to take some serious time. Consequently, the blog's on vacation and project pages may look a little sloppy. There are some new projects though, so poke around.
In Illustrator, mathematical calculations are only accurate to a certain number of significant digits, which for all intents and purposes is sufficient. When that limit is exceeded, Illustrator needs to round numbers to the nearest decimal. By scaling type outlines down so small that we exploit this limitation, distortion of shapes occurs.
