Stickers and Donuts Interview: This weekend I spent some time doing one of favorite things: answering questions via e-mail. Maria from Stickers and Donuts sent me a nice batch of questions about my work and creative inspirations. It was a welcome change from the typical questions regarding the daily photo project, which I had fun with. She’s also got a great collection of election-based internet finds. You should definitely check it out. There is also a nice little post about my current obsessions.

Also, today Keetra & I spent some time with Pratt students as guest lecturers and critics. It was great to be back in the academic setting and to see some fresh work from students. There even happened to be a fellow daily photographer in the bunch.

Keetra created this Simpsons version of me using the avatar creator on the Simpsons’ movie site. According to her, “those ARE Jonathan’s eyes”. Hmmm. At least the Carhartt Tan is correct, though I have no green shirts.

In other news, I thought the movie was really enjoyable. Not amazing, but I thought it was going to be a stinker and it wasn’t. It was just a really good long episode. The only complaint is that it didn’t feature enough of the secondary characters, but then, it would have been a 10 hour movie.
